MY STORY
Since 2005, my focus has been on working with adults who have experienced trauma, mostly women and particularly those who have experienced domestic abuse. During this time I have provided support, help and guidance to many people empowering them to take control of their lives and make positive changes. I have a strong belief in people’s ability to make choices that are right for them, and this belief underpins my passion for this work.
In 2010 I was introduced to change work, a coaching and therapy style that changed my life. I was so impressed that I embarked on a course of study so that I could share the my knowledge with others so they can change their lives too.
My own transition has been an incredibly rewarding journey that has empowered me both emotionally and mentally and as a result I have trained in a range of change work models including IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy), NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), MoM (Metaphors of Movement), SP (Social Panorama) and MSP (Mental Space Psychology). As well as having a HND in psychology & criminology. I am also an associate coach with break free and thrive, currently one of only two Social Panorama Consultants in the UK and I am also an IEMT trainer.
Using these models of change I have released myself from the limiting beliefs brought on by life’s traumas - from feeling frightened and unloved to being called “damaged goods”. I believe that everyone has the potential to change their own life for the better and what better way to help others than to have first hand experience of the processes and methods to achieve that. If you’d like to learn more about how I could help you make those changes in your life call me.
